Jake entered the film world in his native Ohio, working as a lighting tech on numerous commercials and feature films (some of which you’ve probably seen), then as a gaffer on a few more commercials and feature films (none of which you’ve probably seen). He then attended the cinematography program at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and subsequently declared himself to be a director of photography. He is currently based out of Charleston, SC, where he resides with his ever patient wife and two wonderfully frustrating children.
